The Social Centre @ Wesley, operated in partnership with Island Health, is open to anyone with mental health and/or substance use challenges. It’s a place to socialize, make friends, get support, connect with the community and take part in recreational and vocational activities.
We offer a range of activities including:
- Recreation, bowling, floor hockey, badminton, softball, etc.
- A FREE community meal on Wednesdays
- Arts and crafts workshops
- Computer room
- Computer workshops
- Healthy snacks
- Food workshops
- Employment support
- Meditation
- Life Skills Workshops
- Affordable frozen meals for $3.50
- .50 cent coffee, tea or hot chocolate

HOW TO GET INVOLVED
On your first visit, an Activity Worker will welcome you, orient you to the Centre, give you a Social Centre @ Wesley calendar of events, and you can join us for some activities. If you are interested in coming back, the Activity Worker will help you fill out an information package that can be signed by your health care provider or support worker.
LEAD A WORKSHOP OR SHARE A SKILL
Lots of Social Centre @ Wesley participants have incredible skills and talents that other participants can benefit from learning. If you have a skill, that you would like share, please talk to one of the Activity Workers
