12 Hours That Can Change Your Life
Want to know how to feel happier, more confident and worry less right now? Would you like to learn new ways of dealing with what life throws at you? Living Life to the Full is an enjoyable and interactive program that will help you understand your feelings, thoughts and behaviours, and what to do about them!
In eight, enjoyable 90-minute sessions – one per week – this course helps participants make a difference to their lives. Each session is expertly moderated and includes a booklet. Participants are taught how to deal with their feelings when fed up, worried, or hopeless, and learn skills that help them tackle life’s problems.
Based on cognitive-behavioural principles, the course will leave you with the inspiration and skills to get the most out of life and provide you with tools to:
- Reduce stress and boost your mood
- Improve your motivation and problem solving skills
- Change unhelpful thoughts and behaviours
After taking the Living Life to the Full course, 91% of participants said they would recommend it to family and friends.
We recently piloted Living Life to the Full for Older Adults with volunteers working with Comox Senior Peer Support, and we are piloting Living Life to the Full for Youth (age 13-18) in Parksville starting in April.
